James Harden, Anthony Davis Team Up for Another Commercial

Late last season James Harden and Anthony Davis teamed up for a pretty good Foot Locker ad in which Harden went into disguise as Davis to take advantage of some good sales at the store. The spot brought two brand new NBA stars out into the public eye and showed fans a side of the two that seems to be hidden a bit by their on-court personas.

With the chemistry between the two pretty good, 2kSports decided to team the pair up again this year for a new ad for the new face scanning feature in NBA 2k15 and yet again the duo delivered.

Having the two NBA players with distinguishable facial features star in an ad for the face scanning technology was a terrific call by 2k and Harden and Davis both played their parts great. The real star of the commercial though was whoever played Fritz the beard guru. Like Harden I couldn’t help but chuckle on his “James is (expletive deleted) brilliant,” line.

With another strong showing behind them expect to see more of Davis and Harden in national commercials though hopefully they start doing some individual things more. The two both seem to have some fun personalities so letting them star solo in a commercial should let it shine through even more.
