Dallas Mavericks Unveil New Alternate Jerseys

Unlike the New Orleans Pelicans, who were the victim of a technical mishap this morning, the Dallas Mavericks unveiled their new alternate jerseys at an official press event on Tuesday afternoon. The jerseys were designed by Mavs fan Geoff Case, and a fan vote determined which choice would become official.

Case won a $1,000 massive, oversized check (the amount is almost inconsequential, given that it should be everyone’s dream in life to someday earn one of those massive documents of debt payment) and season tickets. Which is nice, but I’m going out on a limb to say that the Mavericks are going to see a substantial return on that investment.

These are a smashing success in my book. Skylines on jerseys are almost always a good decision, and this version continues the storied tradition.

Mark Cuban said at the press conference that the Mavs might wear the jerseys as often as eight times a season, starting with the 2015-16 season.

If you just can’t wait

to be king

to get your hands on a version of these, though, shirts are available now.
