With Kent Bazemore moving from bench warmer to rotation player the NBA needed a new king of celebrations. Luckily, Mitch McGary has come to the rescue and is showing off his skills tonight.

Obviously the only thing to do with these three vines is rank the celebrations so here we go.

In third place is the first one. I’m not really sure what the point of the little hops were and the celebration after them just doesn’t do much. It is a decent attempt but when we look for celebration kings we want great, not decent. Considering how good the other two celebrations are this is the easy choice for number three.

While things get tough choosing between the final two, I finally settled on the third one in that spot. I am going to assume McGary is going for some type of flamethrower thing and it deserves props for not being the classic three fingers in the air celebration we see so often.

But the second celebration is just Bazemorian gold. The energy, random movements and final emphatic fist pump combine for an almost perfect celebration. Luckily with the Thunder bolstering their big man rotation at the trade deadline as keeps McGary on the bench where he can continue to show off his strong celebration game. We all win with that happening.
