Gilbert Arenas has some Lakers opinions, too

Gilbert Arenas’ big summer continues! To recap, first he was banned for getting too many buckets at the basketball shooting game at the Orange County Fair a few weeks back, and then last Thursday he gave us his thoughts about LeBron James‘ place in history.

Now, he’s got the great Kelly Dwyer of Ball Don’t Lie in his crosshairs. Apparently Gil doesn’t think too highly of Dwyer’s assessment of the all-time Lakers’ starting five consisting of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, Elgin Baylor, Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson. Prepare for a wall of text:

I kinda love how Gilbert has become an authoritative Internet commenter post-retirement. I also love how he starts out by claiming there’s a ton wrong with Dwyer’s choices, but then by the end of the rant he’s kinda come around on it.

Arenas wants to jettison James Worthy into the sun, but warmed up considerably to Elgin Baylor’s inclusion after doing a little research. These types of list exist for little other reason than to be relentlessly picked-apart by Internet know-it-alls in the first place, so it’s good to see that Gilbert Arenas is just like the rest of us.

Keep dropping #knowledge, Gilbert.
