Based on how many athletes fail to properly execute a successful pitch from the pitcher’s mound, I’m starting to think that it’s harder than it looks. You’d think of all the people baseball teams invite to toss the ceremonial first pitch (presidents, astronauts, Grumpy Cats), athletes would have the easiest time with it. After all, they’re…athletes. It’s kinda what they do.

Just ask Swaggy P. Or Carl Lewis. Or Annika Sorenstam. Even Tom Brady couldn’t do it. TOM BRADY.

We can now add Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams to the list of luminaries to fail miserably at throwing the first pitch. MCW took the hill prior to last night’s Brewers-Cardinals game, and hilarity ensued:

WHOOPS! MCW plunked the cameraman just standing helplessly by, trying to get some footage of this golden baseball moment. No official word on whether or not the camera survived, but (fortunately) Carter-Williams wasn’t exactly bringing the heat, there. On Twitter afterward, he acknowledged he may actually need to practice next time:
