Welcome back to Last night in the WNBA Playoffs, a running post you’ll see throughout the next month or so as we march towards the crowning of a new WNBA champion.

Indiana Fever 75 – Minnesota Lynx 69 (Series tied 2-2)

Going into last night’s game, the Indiana Fever were 4-0 in this postseason when facing elimination. In order to force a winner-takes-all Game 5 back in Minnesota on Wednesday night, they would need to run that record to 5-0. And of course, that’s just what they did.

The Fieldhouse was ready with a huge crowd on hand.

Tamika (Who else?) got things started for the Fever with the steal and the easy layup. That’s just what she does.

Marissa Coleman was out here putting people on skates.

You know Maya had to get in on the action though.

TAMIKA!

Sylvia Fowles didn’t play much in the first half (or the game, for that matter) because of foul trouble, but she was ready to go when the second half got underway.

The Fever didn’t care who was in for the Lynx though, as they used the third quarter to extend their slim halftime lead all the way to a dozen points by the end of the frame.

Oops. Gotcha.

Shenise was out here on the defensive end too. Get that weak stuff outta here, Anna!

Maya Moore wouldn’t give up…

…But try as she might, the Fever were just too locked in last night.

See you guys Wednesday night for Game 5. It’s gonna be nuts.
