Since Nick Young signed with the Lakers a few years ago, Kobe Bryant has only 45 games because of his various injuries. Still, the two have shared the court together for 371 minutes. According to the #math I just did, that’s a little less than 8 full games.

So how many times has Nick Young assisted on a Kobe Bryant basket?

Zero.

Hahahaha.

This is the greatest thing.

Of course Nick Young isn’t some brilliant passer. Or, really a passer in any sense. Over his career the most assists per game he’s ever averaged for one season was 1.5 in his first year with the Lakers back in 2013-14.

Since coming into the league back in 2007, Young has just 560 assists…in 526 games! So look, he hardly ever hands out assists.

Still, it’s pretty hilarious that he’s never ever assisted on a Kobe Bryant basket. Kobe takes a lot of shots, and they’ve been on the court for almost eight total games together. How has not ever stumbled his way into an assist to Bean?

God bless Nick Young.
