Glen Davis has always had a special place in my heart. Whether he was a role player on a championship Celtics team, averaging 15 points a game in Orlando or being a silly guy on the Clippers bench, I adored the big fella’. I even picked him to win our Friendly Bounce Chris Paul Award for the Player With The Egregious Flop. Unfortunately, Big Baby ventured into free agency this past summer, wasn’t resigned by the Clippers and found himself in the wild basketball ether.

It’s not all bad! Davis was recently hired as a college basketball analyst for the SEC, his former college conference.

Glen is a generally entertaining guy, so he’ll excel as a TV personality, and I’m sure we’ll keep you updated if he says or does anything that we find amusing. Maybe Davis will land himself a spot on an NBA roster come this time next year. If not, at least he’s still in the game.
