Earlier today, Kobe Bryant announced he will be retiring after this season. Tonight, Kobe Bryant played in a basketball game against the Indiana Pacers.

He was, well, not good, shooting just 4-20 (#nice) on the night to finish with 13 points. It was a typical performance from him this year, but we also caught a glimpse of vintage Kobe. Let’s fast forward to the end of the game for this story.

A Tale of Two Three-Pointers.

After the Lakers had fought their way back into the game in the fourth quarter, they found themselves down by four with 14 seconds left. So who did they give the ball to? Why, Kobe Bryant, of course.
