On Saturday night Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine had a tall task ahead of them. After LaVine’s dominant performance last season and people’s genuine desire to hate the dunk contest, the duo had to find a way to keep a large number of people entertained while “reviving” a contest that wasn’t actually dead.

And well, they did. LaVine ended up taking home his second straight crown in a controversial decision after Gordon was unfairly robbed of a 50 on what turned out to be his final dunk. A night of sleep later there seems to be only one right thing to do after the performance—relive it.

The night started with Gordon throwing down an impressive first dunk, though one that would quickly get lost thanks to the number of dunks he ended the night with.

LaVine meanwhile started incredibly strong.

Yeah, he opened with that one.

Then Gordon showed that this would be a contest after all, with the help of the Orlando Magic mascot Stuff.

That was the third most impressive dunk that Gordon had using Stuff. THE THIRD MOST IMPRESSIVE.

LaVine answered by gliding through the air.

And then things got nuts so let’s just watch the rest of the dunks in the order that they happened.

Whew. That was amazing.
