Brook Lopez reignites mascot war by bodyslamming The Raptor

Robin Lopez has been engaged in an ongoing war with mascots around the NBA for the last couple of years now. If you’re an NBA mascot, he’s coming for you. RoLo is playing his first season with the Knicks after playing in Portland last season, and apparently his arrival in New York City has had an effect on his twin brother, Brook.

Brook Lopez doesn’t have a history of mascot violence, but it’s now clear that Robin’s anti-mascot propaganda has spread throughout the Lopez family. One of Robin’s primary rivals has been the creatively named Toronto mascot, The Raptor. The two have engaged in numerous battles, but the dinosaur presumably felt safe with Brook’s Nets, not Robin’s Knicks, in town tonight.

Prior to the game, though, cameras caught Brook taking a page out of Robin’s playbook and bodyslamming the poor, poor Raptor (via @uuords):

If both Lopez twins are now in on this, the mascots are going to need reinforcements.
