Greg Monroe is not exactly known for his defensive prowess. Monroe is great at scoring from the post, dishing out passes from the high post and rebounding on both ends of the floor, but defending and, more specifically, rim protecting aren’t his fortes. Fortunately for Monroe the Milwaukee Bucks took on the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night and the playing the Suns allows players to do things that they normally couldn’t do. Like deny a dunk attempt at the rim.

Poor Tyson Chandler has never looked older than he did at that moment where he met Monroe at the front of the rim and got his shot fairly emphatically thrown away in a very “life comes at you fast type of moment.” Monroe on the other hand almost can’t believe he actually blocked the dunk, taking a second to stare at the ball before running the break despite it being fairly obvious the Bucks were going to get the loose ball.
