Early on Wednesday afternoon, the good fellows over at the NBA Reddit alerted the public to the fact that Adam Morrison was on a podcast and chose his three bunker mates in case there was ever an apocalypse threatening the earth. Morrison decided upon Kobe Bryant, Ronny Turiaf and his former Gonzaga point guard which is an interesting list. But it got us here at The Friendly Bounce thinking about just who the best bunker mates would be in this situation. So here are the results.

Ian Levy (@HickoryHigh):

Josh McRoberts: We’ll both inspire each other to awesome apocalypse beards.

Karl-Anthony Towns: We’ll need his talents if the human race is going to survive.

Rajon Rondo: Connect Four tournaments until the end of time.

Ryne Prinz (@Ryneprinz):

Joakim Noah: He’s one of the best teammates in the NBA and never gives up, but is also laid back when he needs to be.

Stephen Jackson: HOW COULD YOU NOT HAVE CAPTAIN JACK?!? I don’t feel like I have to justify myself here.

Gregg Popovich: It’ll take a strong leader to persevere through, you know, the end of the world, and who would be better?

Donald Kolakowski (@Donniebuckets):

Kawhi Leonard:Might be the best human in the world for any scouting if we need to move. Freak athlete, won’t make a sound. Also, least likely to get annoying.

Zach Randolph: Z-Bo seems like a cool dude to hang out with, plus he’d handle anyone trying to attack us. Plus, he seems like a good enough person to not throw me out just to save himself.

Chandler Parsons: I don’t care if it’s the apocalypse, you know Chandler will get a raging party going.

Dan Favale (@Danfavale):

Boban Marjanovic: Pretty sure he can hunt with his bare hands, a trait not to be underestimated in whatever post-apocalyptic world awaits us. Language-accent barrier would also make for some nice peace and quiet.

Chris Bosh: Because I want someone to start an underground  Acapella punk-pop band with.

J.R. Smith: Who’s most likely to assemble the best post-apocalyptic vodka-lemonade luge? J.R. Smith. All-night raves would also be an apocalyptic bunker staple, and I’ll obviously need something to, you know, take my mind off doomsday.

Matt Cianfrone (@Matt_Cianfone):

Boris Diaw: I am convinced that Boris Diaw is the most interesting man on the entire planet. I would be able to listen to him talk forever.

Rasheed Wallace: Wildly entertaining and yet there is enough of an edge there that I feel like I could trust him to protect me if things get out of hand.

Tony Allen: Basically another version of Rasheed Wallace. And imagine Allen listening to Diaw stories. It feels like that would be amazing.
