The Mavericks may not win this game, but they’ve put forth a phenomenal effort following Game One’s 38-point demolition at the hands of the Thunder. Even though they’re depleted by an array of injuries, they’ve been able to stick with OKC thanks to big minutes out of players like Justin Anderson, Raymond Felton and Salah Mejri.

Mejri has been in and out of the rotation all year long, but has carved out a role for himself recently as a paint protector. He can also provide a bit on the offensive end, to boot, as evidenced by the pair of vicious #yams he threw down in this one.

The first came on the break, when Salah ran the floor and cleaned up the Devin Harris miss (via @KirkSeriousFace):

Then, with Dallas mounting a late surge, Dirk Nowitzki found Mejri prowling along the baseline and hit the big Tunisian with a bounce pass that Salah finished nicely over the top of Enes Kanter (h/t @KirkSeriousFace):

Your daily reminder that Rick Carlisle is a basketball wizard.
