Ball don’t lie, and apparently Draymond Green doesn’t either.

Green is one of the NBA’s premier defenders, and more importantly, trash-talkers. He’ll do and say anything to get into his opponents’ heads. Last season, Doc Rivers mocked Dray after a confrontation with former-Clipper Dahntay Jones, Green responded, “Cool story, Glenn”. After the Dubs won the title, he practically said that the Cavaliers suck. Earlier this season, Draymond refuted that “bigs are becoming dinosaurs” in a heated Twitter discussion with Heat center Hassan Whiteside.

Of course, Draymond carries his brashness to the court as well. During Golden State’s Game 3 contest against Houston, Draymond astutely proclaimed, and I quote, “HELL NO”, as Josh Smith threw up a free throw. And hell no was exactly correct.

Sure, some find this attitude of Draymond’s childish, but it’s key to the Warriors success. While Steph and Klay get the buckets, Green holds the team together as an emotional leader, and they struggle without his presence.

Draymond talks the talk and walks the walk.
