Since he retired from the NBA in early April, Kobe Bryant has done a lot to stay busy. So far Kobe has appeared in the Ghotsbuster NBA Finals promos, the commercial where he is mean to Michael B. Jordan and now as the voice over guy in a promotional video for Team USA’s next Copa America game on Fox Sports One.

As it turns out Kobe is a man of many talents. His voice over work here is great, to the point that it is kind of tough to figure out it is Bryant if you were not aware ahead of time. Kobe’s pacing is great, his enunciation is perfect and his Spanish accent sounds like someone raised speaking multiple languages.

Considering how many people expected Kobe to just fade away into the abyss with his retirement seeing him be around so often is still a bit strange. But honestly, I wouldn’t mind hearing Kobe do some more voice work if he can continue to be this good. Someone has to take Morgan Freeman’s job after he decides to move on to a calm, relaxing life.

Why not Kobe Bryant? Listen to that promo and tell me that he couldn’t be great at it.
