Believe it or not, the 2016 Summer Olympics Coming To You Live from Stable and Functional Brazil are happening right now. We sent our reporter Chris Barnewall down there get a closer look at some of the more lighthearted goings on of the event. If we ever hear from him again, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, other parts of the world exist, and people care about the Olympics in those areas too. Mark Cuban and Andrew Bogut are two of those people.

After the American Women’s Rugby team mounted a second half comeback to tie the Australians, Mark Cuban retweeted this recap to his newly acquired center Andrew Bogut. I think it was meant fondly. Mark is a compassionate shark.

More from NBA

To be fair, it was a just a friendly jab, an invitation to a little kindhearted tussle. Remember all those times you tussled with your bros? You know – just a quick tussle? A little Sunday afternoon tussle with the guys? That’s what this was.

Unfortunately, tussles can come at bad times. Sure, Andrew Bogut is now a two-time NBA champion, the star of a presently undefeated Australian Men’s team, and a well-compensated veteran of a profession he loves, but he is now playing on a team where he is no longer the only tall, non-American white guy. In many ways, identity is a product of your environment, and Andrew is in the process adapting to an entirely novel conceit in which Dirk Nowitzki is his teammate. It’s safe to assume it’s a struggle.

Next: Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan forever

That said, we only have to wait until Wednesday to see how and if Bogut returns to form when he plays America, which is a country I’m pretty sure Mark Cuban is president of. A 40-15-10 performance is pretty likely, if not guaranteed.
