Like I do every morning when I wake up, my Monday started with a quick scroll through the NBA Reddit. Typically there are some interesting discussions going on that are worth reading through, but I normally don’t find something completely day changing within the first hour of the day. Today was different. One thread pointed me to a music video from Jay Chou,a Taiwanese pop star, that featured Jeremy Lin and made my Monday perfect. Here check it our for yourself.

There is just so, so much going on here. The video starts with Chou dominating Lin in pop-a-shot.

The result leaves Lin thoroughly confused and disappointed, which he portrays wonderfully. A short while later Chou fakes Lin out after offering him an ice cream cone and a dejected Lin fires the cone at Chou as he walks away. Again a great visual but one that seemed to signal the end of Lin’s cameo.

Luckily, that isn’t the case. Lin then appears playing the piano deftly in another scene. Finally, Lin dominates Chou on a real basketball court, which feels kind of mean. In between there is more gold, like Lin breaking out a running man in the middle of the basketball court. And all of that ignores the star shaped backboard or the court with Jeremy Lin’s name pained on the wall.

Next: Lin's running man isn't quite as good as Greivis Vasquez dancing

I’m not entirely sure how Lin got involved in this music video in the first place, but boy am I glad he did. There is just so much going on that is worth watching, and the song is pretty fun too. Watch this two or three or seven hundred times because it is worth it. Then thank the NBA Reddit for finding it and changing your day.
