During his rookie campaign, San Antonio Spurs reserve center Boban Marjanovic became an internet sensation. The Spurs posted a league-leading Point Differential, so although Boban was their fifth big man, he was often subbed in at the end of games. Thus, Twitter would go wild.

Boban-Mania wasn’t unearned. The 27-year-old is highly skilled around the basket and even showed some range out to the free-throw line. And he’s 7’3″. That’s really, really tall. His dunks are effortless, because he barely has to jump to do so.

His height definitely helps on the basketball court, but it is also crucial to lifting small children to let them get buckets.

You’re all welcome.

Give it a few years, and Gregg Popovich will have Boban lifting other Spurs players for baskets. This is simply a preview of what’s to come. He’ll be the center (pun sorta’ intended) of the league’s best offense. Everything will be right in the world.
