Have you ever seen a child get dismantled on a basketball court by an NBA player? At this point in the summer, probably. Have you ever seen it done by Shabazz Muhammad? No, right? Well, now it’s Bazz Time. Shabazz Muhammad is going to give you what people want from Shabazz Muhammad. Defense.

One-off events like this are funny in their own right, but what makes this one special is how Shabazz looks back up the court to see what’s coming next.

More from NBA

It’s like he expects a line of children to come through and offer up weak finger-rolls that he can hurl at the wall with impressive velocity. I can’t say I blame him at this point in his life.

There are a few facts worth noting about children. They are small, fragile, and often clumsy. Many of them have yet to develop any eye for imminent danger, and, even if they had, their reaction time is probably too sluggish to mean much.

NBA players also have common traits. They are often tall, strong, and dexterous and have spent years of their lives honing their minds to spot and attack perceived weakness. They have also developed their physicality to do this with exceptional speed and power.
