A few weeks ago here at the Friendly Bounce we made a public announcement about the site’s changing focus. Instead of trying to cover every “fun” NBA thing, we wanted to focus on the personalities that made up the league.  To go along with that we decided that our podcast needed a reboot. So when Alexandra Clarke and Elle Hagedorn applied to join the site, we got very happy. So welcome to the first Friendly Bounce edition of their podcast The Replay with El and Al.

The episode starts with an introduction to our newest site members, Al and El. How did they get involved in basketball? Which NBA player does Elle personally know? What are their favorite ice cream flavors? You know all the important details.

They then touch on a bunch of NBA summer news. Who were the winners? What about the losers? Is this the summer of Melo or summer of Shump? Which one is going as Carmelo Anthony for Halloween? And we revisit J.R. Smith untying shoes when he was a member of the Knicks.
